I only have Nikon Lenes and want to know more about lenses.
For example, a Carl Zeiss lens.
You seem one of the best goals, and are very expensive. So what is the differences with Zeiss lenses, Nikon lenses not?

Several species, most lenses, if anyone can tell me what they mean?
"Planar T"
Flat Rollei "
-Sonnar ® T
"Biogon T"

I wet dreams about Zeiss glass. (published rare)

Zeiss lenses are made of high quality glass and are made with extreme precision, producing images and alive. One is used Nikon lenses seem like they are made of plastic and polished with sandpaper.

Planar lenses are designed to reduce stray light and reflections of light that allows the contrast and color reproduction.

EF lenses, allowing for a wider opening lines and the concentration, so that they are very versatile lens. (my favorite)

Biogon lenses Wide angle lenses are designed for minimal distortion.

The lenses are Zeiss Sonnar ® classic 30, which him famous. People like them because of their high speeds.

I hope that helps!

Carl Zeiss has been a leading innovator in the development of the lens, and many modern lenses that are Devlopment Zeiss s drawings.

The reputation of the lens came in Jena, eastern Germany (hence the name Carl Zeiss Jena) with specific objectives is of variable quality. But if they are good are very good.

Zeiss are concentrated in the manufacture of lenses for medium format cameras in the original equipment, such as Hasselblad, but do now, the new owners themselves. They also produce arange of lenses for film cameras, and epics like The Lord of the Rings the Zeiss lenses together.

The current SLR areas in Japan by a specialist in the production of drawings produced Zisso Zeiss optics, and with appropriate quality control.

some people love them, but is ultimately a subjective and personal opinion.

I think we should see the result, whether the end justifies the means.

There should be a lot more expensive machines to tell the difference in resolution, color, etc., Nikon, Zeiss, Olympus, Canon, Leica, Schneider, or any other act of such lenses.

If the name sounds his whistle, and you think it will be useful, then spring for the Bucks and get a goal. You may not be in a position between the target and shot the man through a Coke bottle differ with you.

Their future in the Sony mount Zeiss Planar, if you like - are acute.

Ok have to see what lenses work with the main differences are: speed () maximum aperture) the sharpness of quality (such as optical glass and the glass in the lens of the light onto a sensor or film.

When you arrive at the difference between the two lenses, the sharpness of the individual and their speed - Screenshots riquire "slow" lenses with F45 or 64 or more, but that's another matter.

In the glass (lenses) of their salary and that is what you get.

Let me say first that I have always been disappointed with Zeiss lenses. They never submitted to his excesses in the twelve samples that I have.

In the 1920's and 30 Zeiss has a good reputation for quality optical lens has been regarded as the epitome of Sonnar lenses. The names refer to the design of the target and the parameters, such as the common Tessar, which has been used by many manufacturers.

There were two schools of thought in the development of the lens at the time, tutorial, Zeiss and Leica (Leica is the second German at the time - still in my humble opinion) was to be distinguished by the power of resolution (lines per mm as the target can), but it is the design of the lens, English, French and American producers went for a better contrast and color correction, producing an overall better quality, but the role of Zeiss lenses look better.

Zeiss lenses are expensive because they are the equivalent of the L-series, in other words, they were (are) all hand-assembled in a drawer "lenses for the best. ZeissF2.8 Sigma is in the full range of Zeiss only F3.5 - F4.5, Sigma has little value, Zeiss will sell thousands of dollars - go figure.

In my book, based on practical experience, Zeiss are the owners of unfulfilled expectations, a very expensive than today, Leica, Zeiss, but the myth continues, as a rule people who have never used.
