Mexican oregano has a stronger flavor than the Mediterranean oregano, usually sold in supermarkets chain. Usually used in savory dishes.

They are sold dried in small packets, in the Latin American markets.

As with the Mediterranean oregano, for best results should be stored in a cool, dark, and within six months.

Mexican oregano is not part of the genus Origanum. . . It is really
closely related to the verbena.

Rocas DOSAGE dried Mexican oregano, but I would like to avoid that if
Collaboration with Italian recipes.
